Cheers!

Well, it's really late.  Really really late.  I've stayed up watching Doctor Who.  In Newcastle.  With Elizabeth and Matthew...(our friend we met at L'abri.)  In Newcastle.  And it's late.  Doctor Who, cookies, football, tea...ah, it's all so English.  Brilliant.  So, N-E-wayz, I'm not going to do a long post.  In fact, I'm not going to put on any pictures.  But that's not because it's late...though that would be a good and valid reason.  But since I'm not on the laptop that has our pictures...well, you can see my dilemma, I'm sure.  Rest assured, however, that we are alive and well.  We had a fantastic Christmas with our family, flew to England, rented a car near London, and drove up to Newcastle by way of Scarborough, which is, in fact, not on the way.  But we made it so.  Driving on the left side of the road is a treat.  Driving on the left side of the road with a stick shift...oh, it's fun.  It seems odd to hear strangers on the street and understand what they're saying.  People actually speak English over here!  I'm just not used to it any more.  Well, I think that was plenty long enough.  I'm going to bed now.  Cheerio and toodlepip, sah!  (Er, I haven't actually heard anyone talk like that...just so you know.)
